Posting here for BT/QC Submission;
“Dawn Blader” monsters/cards are similar to that of Dark World. They work well when discarded or sent to the GY to activate card effects. Similar to Code’s theme of “Zero and it’s many forms” and Bushido’s theme of “real animals and mythical animals”, Dawn Blader’s theme is to reference legendary and/or famous heroes. A few examples are “King of Heroes” being Gilgamesh, “Future King” being King Arthur and “The Golden Shadow” being Ace Raptor from the Raptor game series. Some cards also do reference in game cards, such like “Celtic Knight” being a nod to Yugi’s “Celtic Guardian” card.
Strengths: The archetype works extremely fast, with almost every monster having an effect to discard other cards, or themselves, to gain field presence.
Weakness: The archetype is heavily reliant on monster effects and Special Summoning. If interrupted in either one of these departments, expect a heavy hit within the next turn or two. Due to “Dawn Blader” also dumping your hand a lot to make plays, you can expect to have a rather small hand advantage, if any at all.
The idea of this Deck is to pump out plays rapidly and for a kill as soon as possible. However, if “Dawn Blader” fails to put a dent into Decks such as “Bushido”, best be hoping you make strategic plays over powerful ones.
