Submit Cards / [Scripted] Generic Bigbang goodies #3
« on: October 29, 2024, 03:50:34 am »
Other Bigbang stuff I've been designing over time, I guess it's time to release everything. This time there's also some focus on Main Deck monsters that are designed to make the Bigbang mechanic more accessible, especially in regards to Bigbang Monsters with high stats and that require neutral materials.

Notes:
*Arts were AI generated and edited by me.
*All cards are already scripted by me and are available on the server.

Monsters:

Bigbang Solar Phoenix

If 2 or more monsters with different Vibes are destroyed at the same time while this card is in your GY: You can either add this card to your hand or Special Summon it. You can only use each effect of "Bigbang Solar Phoenix" once per turn.

Approved + Scripted Archetypes / [Scripted] Generic Bigbang goodies #2
« on: August 24, 2023, 08:50:04 pm »
Since i had so much fun exploring the Bigbang Mechanic last time with my 20 Generic Bigbangs, i decided to make 20 more! but this time i also made 6 Spell/Traps to further more expand the card pool related to this mechanic. The main goals of this wave of cards are the following:
1) Expanding the card pool related to the mechanic (this also includes the "Bigbang" archetype, and Negative Bigbangs which are currently lacking)
2) Making the idea of running a full/mostly Bigbang Extra Deck worth considering
3) Giving the Bigbang mechanic better endboard pieces and utility cards

*Arts were AI generated and edited by me.
*All cards are already scripted by me, you can find them on Discord (Xarc-generic-bbs2.rar).

Under Probation + Scripted Archetypes / [Scripted] Oniritron support
« on: June 25, 2023, 03:12:29 pm »
Apparently I overestimated the current state of Oniritron, the Deck usually feels overbalanced and seems unable to do much especially going second, so after getting some feedbacks I decided to make some supports for it. The main goal of this support are the following:
1) Prevent the Deck from losing to "Normal Summon, attack", by giving the deck some way to protect the weak oniritron monsters from battle destruction and more removal cards that can get rid of the attacking monsters.
2) Giving the Deck access to non tsrgeting non destruction removal, because unless running non-engine cards the dack had close to 0 outs to untargetable and undestructable cards. The card i made for this is "Oniritron Orb Devices Cannon" which i balanced by making a trap card that requires setup to be used.
3) Improving the Deck ability to outresource the opponent and grind. This is done by giving the Deck easy access to his best grind cards "Oniritron Orb Devices Collection" and "Oniritron Orb Devices Recover" thanks to the new LIGHT and DARK Xyz Monsters.

Temporius is a Time Leap archetype designed to make Time Leaps more generic and accessible by other Decks, but at the same Time can be played as a pure strategy. The archetype revolves around a monster called "Temporius the Time Traveler" which possesses the ability to change its Level, Type and/or Attribute, this makes most generic Time Leaps easier to summon and opens up a lot of Deck building options to explore, for example:
- if you play a Deck that destroys your own monsters, you can get access to Gimmick Puppet Scarlet Doom
- if you play a Deck that returns stuff to your hand, you can get access to Mist Valley Thunder Avian
- if you play a control Deck that sets a bunch of traps, you can get access to Artifact Alastair

Hi guys, here is my second project, this time I explored the Time Leap mechanic. Designing generic and balanced cards for this mechanic was harder compared to Bigbangs, since you can only Time Leap Summon once per turn i opted for more boss monsters and less utility cards, also, some of these are really powerful considering of specific the summoning conditions and/or material requirement can be. Like I did with the Bigbangs, a lot of these cards are part of some random archetypes but are designed to be generically useful.

You can only use this effect of "Mist Valley Thunder Avian" once per turn.

Future-Eyes Superdimensional Dragon
[Dragon/DARK/Future 8/ATK 3000/DEF 2500]
During the Main Phase of this turn, a card effect made a player gain an effect that doesn't resolve in the Main Phase - Effect Monster
You can only control 1 "Future-Eyes Superdimensional Dragon". Any monster destroyed by battle with this card is banished. When a card or effect is activated (Quick Effect): You can banish this card. If this card is banished: You can activate this effect; during the End Phase of this turn Special Summon this card, and if you do, you can banish 1 card your opponent controls until the end of the next turn. You can only use each effect of "Future-Eyes Superdimensional Dragon" once per turn.

*Note in case the Summoning condition is confusing, here are some card effects that can trigger this thing:
Bystial Magnamhut: Activate it's effect during the Main Phase, but you gain the search during the End Phase.
Book of Eclipse: Activate it during the Main Phase, but the monsters are flipped during the End Phase.
Into the Void: Activate it during the Main Phase, but have to discard your entire hand during the End Phase.
and well.. its own effect when banished also triggers it, this is why there is the "you can only control 1" restriction.

Gimmick Puppet Scarlet Doom
[Machine/DARK/Future 9/ATK 800/DEF 2800]
A monster(s) was destroyed by battle or card effect this turn - DARK monster
Each time a monster(s) on the field is destroyed by a card effect, this card gains 800 ATK. If a monster(s) is Special Summoned to your opponent's field (except during the Damage Step): You can destroy that monster(s), and if you do, inflict 800 damage to your opponent. You can use this effect of "Gimmick Puppet Scarlet Doom" up to twice per turn.

Metal Armored Bug Evolved
[Insect/EARTH/Future 9/ATK 3000/DEF 1700]
Your opponent controls more card than you do - Effect Monster
Cannot be destroyed by card effects. When this card is Time Leap Summoned: Destroy all other cards in this card's column, also, this card cannot attack directly for the rest of this turn.

Chronovert Absolute Dragon
[Dragon/LIGHT/Future 11/ATK 3000/DEF 2500]
A Time Leap Monster battled this turn - Effect Monster
Must be Time Leap Summoned. This card's Time Leap Summon is treated as an additional Time Leap Summon. You can also Time Leap Summon this card by using any Time Leap Monster. The monster used for this card's Time Leap Summon is shuffled into the Deck instead of being banished. If this card is Time Leap Summoned: You can Shuffle all other cards on the field into the Deck, then it becomes the End Phase. Once per turn, during your opponent's End Phase: Return this card to the Extra Deck. You can only Special Summon "Chronovert Absolute Dragon(s)" once per turn.

*Note, i'm aware that this is probably the most broken card of the collection, the design philosophy was: "if Zeus is fine in Xyz mechanic, why not making something similar for time leaps which feels more undersupported, are often harder to summon and are restricted to 1 per turn?" but since i was not sure of how broken this thing could be i slapped in the restriction that makes your turn end as soon as you use it.

Dimensional Gate Guardian
[Warrior/DARK/Future 12/ATK 3750/DEF 3400]
11 or more cards are in your GY - Monster whose original Level is 11

● LIGHT: Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can discard 1 card, then target 1 face-up card on the field; destroy it.
● WIND: Your opponent cannot target this card with card effects.
● WATER: All monsters your opponent controls lose 500 ATK/DEF.
