Schimbare

Description:
Schimbare are a group of monsters that are themed around monsters that can change from monsters to Spells. It's like Crystal Beasts, except they do stuff as Spells.

Schimbare Ras

Type: Beast-Warrior/Effect

If this card would be destroyed (by battle or card effect): Move this card to an unoccupied Spell/Trap Card Zone instead, and if you do, treat this card as a Continuous Spell. If you cannot: Destroy this card. This card gains the following effect depending on what card type this card is treated as.
● Monster: You can discard 1 card; You can send 1 “Schimbare” monster from your Deck to your GY. You can only activate this effect of “Schimbare Ras” once per turn.
● Spell: (Quick Effect): You can discard 1 card; Special Summon 1 “Schimbare” monster from your Deck. You can only activate this effect of “Schimbare Ras” once per turn.

[PENDULUM EFFECT]
You cannot Pendulum Summon monsters, except “Schimbare” monsters. You can only have 1 “Schimbare Vierme” in your Pendulum Zone(s). This effect cannot be negated. (Quick Effect): You can target 1 “Schimbare” card in your GY: Shuffle that card into your Deck. You can only activate this effect of “Schimbare Vierme” once per turn.
[MONSTER EFFECT]
If this card would be destroyed (by battle or card effect): Place this card in an unoccupied Pendulum Zone. If you cannot: Destroy this card. If your opponent would declare a direct attack: You can banish this face-up card from your Extra Deck; End the Battle Phase You can only activate this effect of “Schimbare Vierme” once per Duel.

● Spell: If a “Schimbare” monster you control destroys a monster by battle: You can gain LP equal to this destroyed monster's original ATK, but that monster cannot attack during your next turn.

● Monster: Can attack twice per turn. At the end of the Battle Phase in which this card attacked, change this card to Defense Position. This card cannot change Battle Positions until the end of your next turn.
● Spell: If a “Schimbare” monster you control destroys an opponent’s monster by battle; It can attack again, but destroy it during the End Phase. You can only activate this effect of “Schimbare Himera” once per turn.

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by sending all “Schimbare” Continuous Spells with different names you control to the GY (Min. 3). You can only control 1 “Schimbare Dumnezeu”. If this card would be destroyed (by battle or card effect): Move this card to an unoccupied Spell/Trap Card Zone instead, and if you do, treat this card as a Continuous Spell. If you cannot: Destroy this card. This card gains the following effect depending on what card type this card is treated as.
● Monster: (Quick Effect): If a card effect would be activated: You can banish 1 “Schimbare” monster from your GY; Negate that effect, and if you do, destroy that card. You can only use this effect of “Schimbare Dumnezeu” once per turn.
● Spell: Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can send 1 Continuous Spell you control to the GY, then target 1 card on the field; destroy it. “Schimbare” monsters you control cannot be destroyed by card effects, also your opponent cannot target them with effects.

Add 1 "Schimbare" monster from your Deck to your hand and place 1 "Schimbare" monster with a different name from your Deck face-up in your Spell & Trap Zone as a Continuous Spell. You can only activate 1 "Shifting Shipments" per turn.

Activate only while you have at least 2 “Schimbare” cards in your Spell/Trap Zones. Your opponent targets 1 of those cards; Destroy that card, and if you do, draw 2 cards. You can only activate 1 “Shifting Value” per turn.

Shifting Dimension
Spell/Field
“Schimbare” Continuous Spells cannot be destroyed by your opponent’s card effects, also your opponent cannot target them with card effects. Once per turn: You can place 1 “Schimbare” monster from your hand to your Spell/Trap Zone as a Continuous Spell. You can destroy 1 “Schimbare” Continuous Spell you control; Place 1 “Schimbare” monster from your Deck to your Spell/Trap Zone as a Continuous Spell. You can only activate this effect of “Shifting Dimension” once per turn.

Additional Remarks

Advantages:

*Good Consistency and Swarming capabilities
*Access to the likes of Tenki and Allure of Darkness
*Can overpower your opponent if things go your way.



Disadvantages:

*Most of the monsters are weak
*Can be exploited to clog up your backrow when their effects cannot go off
*Susceptible to the like of Kaijus, negation, and non-destruction removal.
*Can brick you if things go wrong
*Linear, so are predictable to get used to

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Subterrors.
